{video} The Seeing Wheel 0

A quick run-through of the prints in the show. I couldn’t make it down for the opening. Reports are that the images look amazing in the large format prints.
The gallery is at 102 W. 5th St., L.A., open Wednesday-Saturday Noon-5 pm.
Thanks to Rex Bruce of LACDA and all the artists. And to Adriane Biondo for shooting this video!
Made on an iPhone 3GS. Dedicated to the iphoneographic community.
There is no sound, other than the “projector” sound, since a couple people have asked.
Snowbound in Seattle, I was restless and needed to shoot something, so I decided to make a slideshow of my 1902 bathroom.
I presented “Bathe”, my 2 minute project to the musician Moby to use his song “Division”, and he approved it.
All images were made on the iPhone 4 with the Lomora app, then formatted and uploaded on the iPad using the app SlideshowHD.
Solar Flare was created on an iPod Touch using ArtStudio, Fluid FX, CinemaFXV and Animoog by Justin Davis-Metzner.
Everybody knows that Erik Satie is the patron saint of Pixels—The Art of the iPhone. I stumbled across this very odd version of “Trois Gymnopédies” on youtube, apparently a bonus track on Gary Numan’s Telekon remaster. Rather lovely. And I had forgotten just how strange his song “Please Push No More” on that album actually was.
Shot with iPhones.

As most of you know, Erik Satie is the patron saint of P1xels. I thought I would post a piece of music every now and then. This was supposed to pop-up, so you could listen and browse. Tomorrow maybe. Enjoy.
