It’s been nine years since I launched Pixels. While I still believe we have a long way to go in terms of getting iphoneography accepted and respected as a new art form, we have come a long way from the days when people would laugh in one’s face, or serious photographers would dismiss any talk of iPhone art with a condescending sneer.

So I think we should act as if. And part of that is celebrating other art and artists. Andy Warhol’s work was every bit as democratic as iphoneography is. High and low at the same time. The best of all worlds!
