It’s Sunday. I thought this picture was entirely appropriate for the sabbath. I have no idea what this young beautiful woman is praying about, or to whom she is praying. Or where—it is an odd shrine. Therein the mystery.

I love her prayerful dignity, and the lovely composition of the image. Desaturating it was most appropriate.
