This is simply a great and truly weird street shot and I love it all: the juxtaposition of the light and dark areas, top & bottom, the fire escape mechanism jutting into the foreground, the distinct black shadows cast on the washed out sidewalk, the washed-out street with the surreal tiling. And of course, the people, one walking, toward the other lying on the sidewalk, legs thrust into the street. What on earth is he doing there? An odd, quiet moment in San Francisco, late in the afternoon, captured and apped wonderfully by Petyr.
A cheery urban tale from Lou Reed (and a cameo appearance by Bruce Springsteen):

Knox, Thank you very much for selecting this image for daily pic. I have to give some credit to Egmont Van Dyck who suggested going out shooting in Chinatown that day. He took me a bunch of places I would not have likely wander into, including a Buddhist temple from which this shot was taken from on its balcony. I had a lot of fun that day.
