I love the painterly quality of this piece, the shadowed foreground, the earthen tonalities, browns, beige, ochre, hints of red,  the girls on the rock midstream … a wonderful capture … I can almost hear the music of the whitewater tumbling into the lower pool … Reminding me of a poster from my youth, which began “Go placidly among the noise and haste …”
