Damian De Souza ~ A Knight Errant

I have no idea who Kurt Vile is. I stumbled upon this song on one of my Youtube meanderings, looking for cool music to share here on Pixels.. Slightly skeptical at the beginning of the song with its simple two-chord structure and his folksy delivery, I was absolutely entranced and enchanted by the end. I particularly love the the dreamy floaty cluster chords and the backwards guitar. And his laidback vocal style, perfect for this work of twenty-first century psychedelia. Last but not least, the video footage itself, like a vintage eighties home movie. Maybe that’s what it actually is.
