Just a quick note. I want to thank the community of P1xels artists for sharing their work on the site this past year and continually raising the bar for the movement. They have taken the art form to a new level, making P1xels its site of record.
We did three wonderful shows in four cities and got some great press. Some wonderful artists made their way to P1xels and have added immeasurably to the quality of the work here. We’ve made lots of new friends and for that I am grateful.
I also want to thank everybody who contributed to the Indiegogo campaign: We should see some changes in the site very shortly. I want to thank everybody who took part in the THIRD WAVE exhibition. The combination of print and digital display has captivated everybody who has entered the gallery, here and in Bremen. It is a joy to sit in the gallery with the work. I’d like to thank the judges, as well, once again.
We enter the fourth year of the iphonic art explosion. It’s been a weird and exciting ride.
I am about to announce some artist services and also classes at the Garden Gate Center through P1xels.com. I look forward to seeing some of you at Macworld.
Erik Satie is the patron saint of P1xels. Here is a beautiful version of Gymnopedies No. 1 as performed on classical guitar.
Happy New Year to all!
Knox, Baby, Henry, Kitty
Greetings Knox,
It has been an incredible year for mobile photography and I thank you for all that you do to educate, promote and feature great mobile artists. I wish you a fantastic 2013 and all the very, very best. Loving that you love cats.
Thanks, Egmont. Taking pictures of my cat, Baby, who is sitting next to me on the arm of my chair purring right now, was the gateway to the creation of P1xels.
Love your cats! Happy New Year to you also!
Thank you, Luxtra!
…and Happy New Year to you too Knox. Thank you for all you have done, are doing, and will do in 2013 for the P1xels Community and the artists who make it so.
Thank you, Delta.
