Homage à Balthus, The Guitar Lesson, 1935

Here is the music we were listening to while we took pictures. I told Marison and Rachael I wanted the picture to look like how this music sounds. I think we were successful!

    I like the composition a lot. I was thinking of the Beatles’ song: “Happiness is a Warm Gun” even though this is about a guitar since the lyrics allude to the stroking of one object as if it were another. Looks like a lot of effort and attention went into perfecting the pose and the setting. Well done! This should hang at a gallery.

      Thanks for compliment! I think a lot of the work we see on Pixels should hang in a gallery. Or a museum. That was the idea at the very beginning. Still is!
