Maia Panos, who was tied by only one other artist for the number of images voted into the Giorgi Gallery show by the selection jury, has consented to being our first Artist-In-Residence at p1xels.wpengine.com.
As such, she will be submitting an image a day for the next thirty days.
An avid (those less charitable might say obsessed) iPhontographer, Maia’s work ranges from simple shots of of flowers and still-lifes to abstract pattern-based work, as well as some very interesting figure/body studies we hope she shares.
She is constantly experimenting with new apps, combinations, and exploring the outer boundaries of the possible with the technology, a member of a group of pioneers in this nascent and emergent artistic medium.
