“True Hippies Never Die: They Just Go Out Of Tune” by Knox Bronson

You will note that we have changed the look of the site. We thought it very good time, in light of the need to move the site to a new server last week. And it was long overdue. We are still making adjustments to the site.

This is not the new site I’ve been promising for two years. This is a temporary solution, but you will note that the site loads a lot faster, and scales better on mobile devices. And the Facebook “Like” button will work properly.

The new site is coming. We are launching an Indiegogo campaign in the next week or two to finance a total redesign and building of a new site from the ground up, in HTML5,  retina-display support, individual galleries, favorites, and other great features. This phase of the design and the moving have been accomplished by my good friend and all-around genius, Gustavo Lanzas, and his company. He will be handling the design and development of new site as well. We have determined a list of features and design concepts that, once implemented, will take P1xels to a new place as home to the finest iphonic art in the world.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Indiegogo campaign. It will be a lot of fun and we will be asking you to help promote it among your friends. We have some great perks for contributors.

In the meantime, enjoy the new, interim look of the site. We thank you for your patience over the past week and a half. Many images artists have sent in during that time will probably need to be resubmitted. But I’ll have details on that in a day or two.

Update Tuesday Night: We are still transitioning into this new theme and hosting service, so that is why you see comments, Like button, galleries, etc., appear and then disappear. I have gotten lots of positive feedback on the new look and I thank you all. This is an interim site and I am happy to say we finished the Indiegogo promo movie today and it is wonderful. We’ll be launching that soon and I hope you all will take part, contribute, and help promote it so we can build a really cool new site. So bear with us here a little longer. Oh, I almost forgot: a number of pictures seem to have been lost. If you find a post missing a picture of yours, please let me know & I will fix it. Thanks.
