Back in 2012, I was doing a {daily pic} every day, a once-a-week Sunday feature called {second look}*, where I had a gallery of images that could have been a {daily pic}, but didn’t make it for one reason or another (usually because the artist had just had one or the image was thematically too close to a recent {daily pic}). I was also doing a weekly feature called {orpheum} a gallery of the best black-and-white images of the week, published on Thursdays.
I stumbled across this {orpheum} feature from June 27 and thought I would republish today.
I once tracked my Pixels time for one week back then: forty hours. Obviously that was not sustainable without getting paid, so I had to let a lot of stuff go. I always enjoyed doing these kinds of features.
