The Electric Prunes – Holy Are You

Actually it wasn’t the Electric Prunes, well-known for their song, “I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night.” The song was written by David Axelrod, a producer working with the Electric Prunes. However, the Prunes couldn’t play his complex music, so studio musicians were brought in. It was sung by Richard Whetstone, who was briefly a the singer for the Prunes, but not the one who sang “I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night.”
