I somehow missed responding to all these wonderful comments! A very belated thank you to everyone! I love coming up with titles, and the first thing that came to mind was, “The Tree of Knowledge” or “The Tree of Life” but those seemed too mundane. So I Googled the phrase, and came up with lots of interesting material regarding Adam and Eve. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was the tree that contained the forbidden fruit that Adam and Eve ate which caused them to be banished from the Garden of Eden. It’s a rather interesting story, but the title was perfect for this image. I’m happy to have all of your nice comments on this!
Congrats on the Daily, Cindy! SO well deserved! :-)

Loved this on IPA…and seeing it here just reinforced that!
Yes Cindy, well deserved Daily Pic!!
Cindy, this is painterly and intriguing and a bit baffling. I want more! Congratulations! This is gorgeous.
Apples grow on apple trees. But…what fruit grows on the strangely named tree of knowledge of good and evil? For a surprise, do a search: First Scandal.
Hum… do tell us more!
Magnificent, Cindy!! And another perfect title!
Such a strong composition, an yet so delicate. Great title too!
