Rupert Sheldrake, a lovely and brilliant man I consider to be Rudolf-Steiner-adjacent, did the wonderfully insightful and humorous TED Talk some years ago, “The Science Delusion,” which a group of atheists managed to get removed from the TED Talks main website. There was a huge outcry and the talk was restored. But the whole thing proved to me once and for all that atheism is, at its core, just another fundamentalist religion, as well as proving that TED Talks is mostly a series of bourgeois affirmations for Volvo-driving socialists who want to tell themselves how smart, enlightened, and informed they are.
Anyway, I think everything is alive. And conscious.
The universe is not a pachinko game.
Enjoy!
