{video} Simon Schama’s Rothko Documentary

This post was originally entitled, “Mark Rothko ~ Pictures Must Be Miraculous (2019),” but the video itself has been removed.

Nonetheless, I revere Rothko and his proclamation, “Pictures Must Be Miraculous.” I like to think we keep that in mind here at Pixels.

I am posting the first part of Simon Schama’s documentary on Mark Rothko. It’s incredibly well done and I think if you let it run, it will follow with parts 2, 3, and 4.
