Barbara Dubois – Herbie

Herbie, Barbara duBois’ companion and partner-in-crime for sixteen or seventeen years, passed on to the other side today. He had been fighting the good fight for some time. He was a beautiful cat, as you can see. I used to hear him meowing in the background just about every time I talked to Barbara on the phone.
She sent me some pictures of him the other day. This was one of them. I decided to do a memorial post for Herbie.
I like to think we see our furry friends again, can’t be certain, but it seems right.
Barbara told me that Herbie was purring right up to the end.
Rest in peace, Herbie.
Had a hard time choosing a song for Herbie and Barbara. I finally landed on “Peace Piece” by Bill Evans. I think it’ll do, for all of us.
