When Armistead Maupin’s serial novel came out in the SF Chronicle, it was the first thing everybody in the Bay Area read, even before reading Herb Caen. I had a friend traveling in Europe who would call every few days to get updates.
I’d forgotten they made a TV series. I’ve never seen it before. I watched a fee minutes so far. Yes, an accurate portrayal of the times.
